KEBBI 2023 POLITICAL PERMUTATIONS- Part 11

*KEBBI* *2023* *POLITICAL* *PERMUTATION* :

STILL ON GOV. ATIKU BAGUDU  Vs SEN. ADAMU ALEIRO:

- TWO COMMON SENSE WAYS TO END THE FEUD AMICABLY.

-TWO OTHER CASE STUDY EXCLUSIVELY FOR SEN. ALEIRO

Part 11

By Ahmad Umar

The ongoing  conflicts of political interest between Gov. Atiku Bagudu and Sen. Adamu Aleiro can be resolved amicably in two ways:

OPTION ONE;
RECONCILIATION

From the religious and sociological perspective  reconciliation is percieve as an integral part of human coporate existence.

Therefore, any person against the idea of reconciliation in political conflicts must be seen as a dangerous species.

HOW THE RECONCILIATION SHOULD BE SEALED?

In my view the TITANS: Gov. Bagudu, Sen. Aleiro and Minister Malami  should agree to  meet at Government House and engage themselves in 24hours closed door meeting and resolve on the following 'TAKE and GIVE'  formula, known in conflicts resolution studies as 'WIN-WIN' or 'COMPROMISE' as follows:

1- SENATOR KEBBI CENTRAL 2023: Gov. Atiku Bagudu

2- MINISTER NOMINEE 2023: Sen. Adamu Aleiro

3- GOVERNOR KEBBI STATE 2023- Abubakar Malami, SAN.

If this gentleman agreement can be harmoniously and unanimously resolved, the good people of Kebbi will forever be grateful to this development.

WHAT IS THE FATE OF OTHER MEMBERS OF ALEIRO''S  CAMP?

Nothing is full of risk as Nigeria politics, nobody force anyone to attach himself to a particular camp, therefore nobody should ever think that Senator Aleiro can somewhat sacrifices his personal Interest for the interest of somebody. In Nigerian politics PERSONAL INTEREST IS PLACED ABOVE ANY OTHER....if you understand, you understand.

OPTION TWO: DECAMPING

You can't pursue political interest in a mere political camp or empty platform. If true must be told, as at today Aleiro''s camp are on partless and empty platform. The camps doesn't have legitimate EXCOS; no record of membership and Congress at local and state level. INEC, SECURITY AGENCIES, NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS OF APC etc does not recognize them, hence they cannot nominate or present any candidate from their camp to participate in any kind of election, then why waste of time?. If they are not ready for reconciliation the only option left for them is to decamp.

I recommend PRP for them, because I don't see GEN. SARKIN YAKI, GEN. BANDE, GEN. BAMAIYI and SAN, KABIRU TANIMU surrendering PDP to them as usual.

RECONCILING or DECAMPING remain the only two common sense options to end the feud amicably. Anything in between is invitation to anarchy and the GOVERNMENT will not sit idly by.. watching. A decisive action must be considered.

EXCLUSIVELY FOR SEN. ALEIRO;    THE TWO CASE STUDY:

1- CASE STUDY ONE: SEN. BUKAR ABBA IBRAHIM OF YOBE STATE.

Sen. Bukar ABBA was the alpha and omega of Yobe State Politics, anything decides by him remain sachrosant.

Upon completion of his second term in 2007,  after installing who he wanted as Governor, Deputy Governor, SSG and Commissioners at State level, he went to the Senate and his wife went to the House of Representatives. He later transferred his wife from House of Representatives to Ministerial position; she serve as Minister of state foreign affairs.

Despite this extra ordinary power of Bukar Abba Ibrahim, when the then serving Governor of the State, Ibrahim Gaidam ( aka burabura) decided to contest for the same Senatorial seat the powerful Bukar is enjoying, Bukar Abba RESISTED THE SUPPORTERS INSTIGATION and HONOURABLY relinquished such Senatorial seat for Gov. Gaidam. Today Bukar Abba is not only the dictionary but encyclopedia of Yobe Politics.

If Sen. Aleiro can adopt this case study, he will not only become encyclopedia of Kebbi, he can go extra miles to become GOOGLE of Kebbi Politics.

2- CASE STUDY TWO: LATE DR.  OLUSOLA SARAKI OF KWARA STATE

Late Dr. Olusola Saraki, the Majority Leader of the Senate during Shehu Shagari's regime (and biological father to Abubakar Bakola Saraki former Governor Kwara State and former Senate President) was able to create for himself a myth that turned him  into minigod in Kwara State Politics for more than 40 years, he hires and fires at will.

But the inability of Late Dr. Olusola Saraki to recognize the expired date of his myth resulted in his disgraceful exit in the state Politics.

This happened in 2011 when he clashes with his son ( Abubakar Bukola Saraki) on who should become a next Governor after Bukola. At the end his son Bokola defeated him.

Abdulfatay Ahmed backed by Bakola Saraki defeated Mrs. Gbamisola Rukayyat backed by her father Dr. Olusola Saraki, the situation led to his death as results of hypertension.

LESSONS FROM THE TWO CASE STUDY ABOVE.

Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim of Yobe State see the writing clearly on the wall that his time is up and he acted accordingly as such he exited in dignity and become the FATHER of all people of Yobe State.

On the contrary Late Dr. Olusola Saraki saw same writing on the wall but was instigated and mislead by politicians who want ride through his back to actualized their personal political interest at the end he made a disgraceful exit. 'Allah Ya sa mu gane'.

H.E SA'IDU USMAN NASAMU DAKINGARI AS ANOTHER CASE STUDY.

Worthy of emulation and reflection is former Kebbi State, Alh. Sa'idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari; he was the brain behind most beautiful state owned infrastructure in Kebbi state such as New Secretariat at Sani Abacha bye pass, Kebbi State Medical Center Kalgo, State Higher court and State House of Assembly complex to mention but few.

H.E Dakigari was so smart and self comtempted to understand you cannot do your time and insisted on doing other's time. Hence his wise decision to support the Incumbent Gov. Atiku Bagudu in line with renown Hausa- proverb; 'Mai laya kiyayi Mai zamani'.

If Sen. Aleiro didn't get it right this time, H.E Dakingari can automatically become the FATHER OF KEBBI POLITICS.

H.E Dakingari has not produce millionaires who can spend N10MILLION for him as been boasted by Aleiro''s camp. But he was able to execute productive projects worth Billions of  Naira in each of the 21 local government in the state.

The so-called millionaires in each of the 21 local governments that can spend N10MILLION for someone but cannot spend N1 million to their relatives and neighbors or to the promotion of their religion cannot add value to any political contest. We are living witness of what transpired in 2011, where they have contested for all elective offices... and their N10 million millionaires in 21 local government failed to save them.

Anyway, in couples of weeks, I hope to see Sen. BABA Aleiro and Gov. BABA Bagudu reconciled, forgive and forget for the interest of KEBBI State and good people of the state.
